Computing is part of everything we do!

It is predicted that users will connect half a trillion devices to the internet by 2030. Computers have changed the way that the world communicates and conducts business.

In the Information Technology shop at our school, students will study computer science, business, and communications. Topic areas include Cybersecurity, Digital Design, Game Design, Networking, Programming, Web and Digital Communication.  

Vocation

Students receive a mix of technical training and academics that will prepare them for college and real-world 21st century careers

Certification

Students earn certification in a variety of different topics, including: Microsoft Office (MOS),  IT Fundamentals (ITF+), Adobe CC, etc. 

College

We prepare students for college: during their four years, students can also earn  college  credit

According to the official  government website  the US Bureau of Labor & Statistics  bls.gov: Employment of Computer and Information Technology occupations is projected to grow much faster than the average for all occupations from 2022-2033. 

IT Wages Pay Well

Median annual wage for computer and information technology occupations was $100,530 in May 2021, which was higher than the median annual wage for all occupations of $46,7310.

Occupational Growth

These occupations are projected to add about 667,600 new jobs.

Demand

Demand for these workers will stem from greater emphasis on cloud computing, the collection and storage of big data, and information security.
